Anthony Reynolds was born on May 8, 1968, to parents, M. E. Reynolds, a North Carolina State Highway Patrolman, and Ethel Reynolds. His family spent time between their home in Cary and their native, western North Carolina. Anthony graduated from Cary High School in 1986 and then studied and North Carolina State University and East Carolina University. He went on to graduate from ECU in 1992 with a BFA in Communication Arts. In 1993, he ventured out to Los Angeles where he slept on the floor of his high school friend, Keith Coulouris' apartment in Studio City. Keith was instrumental in Anthony getting a bit part in, Dead Man's Revenge (1994) (TV), a USA network movie of the week, starring Bruce Dern, Michael Ironsides and Vondie Curtis Hall. Shortly thereafter, Anthony returned to the East Coast to study acting. He spent a couple years in Atlanta taking classes and auditioning, before moving to New York City to study at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Concurrent to studying at Strasberg, Anthony studied privately with acting coaches, Michael Margotta and Geoffrey Horne. While performing Off-off Broadway in numerous black box theatres, Anthony met Lamya Jezek. Two years later, the engaged couple moved to Los Angeles. They were married July 14, 2001, in North Carolina. Anthony studied briefly at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and later took classes with Lesly Kahn in Los Angeles, but where he found the best training of all, was working on set with other actors. Anthony and family returned to the East Coast in 2008 where he continues to work in film and television as a character actor.
